Assignments for Week Three

Assignments for Week Three

1. Perform the opening prayer and meditation session from Week Two, as we did at the opening of this week's class. Contemplate all the people that have come before you in terms of physical and spiritual ancestors so that you could be here. Give thanks to them for what they have done for you. Accept and return the blessing as rays and/or spheres of brilliant light. This light can be clear or white, or multi-colored.

2. Make four or more prayer cloths and hang them in locations either inside or outside of your home, one in each of the four directions.

3. Make a SATOR Square and place it in the highest possible point of your home as well as one in the lowest. This can also be placed inside of window sills, under or above doorways, or any entrance point. Remember our discussion from Week One about pausing at thresh holds and sensing the change in energy and practice it. If your dwelling does not allow this, then your private quarters will suffice. This can also be down using chalk.

4. Pay attention to the quality and frequency of your speech patterns. Are they healthy and positive? Uplifting and constructive? Do they affirm your essential nature and authority?

5. Pay attention to how you use the phrase “I am” and what it is you identify with. Across the day, repeat the first line of the 91st Psalm and identify with your highest possible nature and aspirations.

6. Analyze the charms in this text and write a short description of their structure.

7. Write three charms of your own construction based on what you have discovered.

8. Find an authority within Brauche, such as one that we have mentioned, or one from the Western esoteric traditions related to it – such as Boehme, Agrippa, etc. - and prepare to perform a nine day petition for their assistance and guidance on the Path.
